Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of pupID, operated by Bayly Hardware LTD, operating as Good Harbor Pet. By creating an account or using pupID, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
Your account and authority
You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You may upload, enter, share, or transfer information only when you have the legal right and appropriate authority to do so. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Records and scanner output
pupID is a recordkeeping and workflow tool. Automatic scanner output is a proposed transcription that can be incomplete or wrong. You must compare proposals with the source, correct them, and decide whether to save them. pupID does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, or professional advice. Consult a qualified veterinarian about animal health decisions.
Acceptable use
You may not use pupID to break the law; infringe another person's rights; submit malicious code; probe or bypass security or access controls; disrupt the service; impersonate another person; create misleading records; or access data you are not authorized to access. You may not use automated means to scrape or overload the service without written permission.
Sharing and transfers
You control when to use the product's sharing and transfer tools. Check the receiving person, the puppy, and the information shown before completing a handoff. A digital record supports communication but does not replace original veterinary records, legal ownership documents, or professional obligations.
Purchases and third-party services
Prices, taxes, included uses, and purchase terms shown at checkout apply to that transaction. Payments may be processed by Stripe, and store items may be provided through Shopify or Good Harbor Pet commerce channels. Third-party services are also governed by their own terms.
Availability and changes
We may improve, add, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. We work to keep pupID reliable and preserve records, but availability is not guaranteed and maintenance or events outside our control may interrupt access. Keep original source documents when they are important for medical, regulatory, ownership, or business purposes.
Ownership
You retain rights in information you submit. You give us the permission needed to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that information solely to operate, secure, and improve the services you request. pupID, its software, designs, and branding remain owned by Good Harbor Pet or its licensors.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, pupID is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that every feature or output will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Good Harbor Pet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use and changes to these Terms
You may stop using pupID and request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated violation, a security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
